- Burn the candle no longer than 2-4 hours at a time, just enough to allow the wax to melt across the surface. Stop using the candle when only ¼" of wax remains in the jar.
- Use a wick trimmer to trim wick to about ¼ - ½" to ensure a safe, even burn. Ensure all wick trimmings are removed from the candle and thrown away.

- Do not use any type of candle lid to extinguish the flame.

However, in extreme hot or cold conditions, we recommend minimizing the time packages remain outside (on a doorstep).
