Burn the candle no longer than 2-4 hours at a time, just enough to allow the wax to melt across the surface. Stop using the candle when only ¼" of wax remains in the jar.
Use a wick trimmer to trim wick to about ¼ - ½" to ensure a safe, even burn. Ensure all wick trimmings are removed from the candle and thrown away.
Use a snuffer to extinguish your candle safely.
Use a wick dipper to extinguish your wick, restraighten your wick, or remove debris.
Always store your candles in a cool, dry, and dark place.
