soy wax melts and how to use them

At Antique Candle Co.®, our main focus is candles. 🕯 Whether they are poured into classic Mason Jars or unique Antiques, much of our time is spent preparing beautiful candles to be sent right to your door.

However, we understand that amazing fragrance can come in MANY forms. Maybe it's because we spend so much time in this space, but it seems like there is always something new to discover in the world of fragrance...

We dipped our toes in the water (so to speak!) to bring high quality, cozy smells into your home however you want it! Which is why we're oh so in love with soy wax melts. ❤️

Also sometimes referred to as "tarts," you've probably seen these packaged in little plastic 'shells' in the department store or your favorite boutique. In fact, we used to package them that way, too! However, we wanted to reimagine this amazing product to include MORE of your favorite fragrance, be totally mess-free, and easier to store! The newly redesigned look does just that. Soy Wax Melts are PERFECT for friends who love the benefit of having a flameless, smokeless scent! 🥰

Wax melts can fill a home with your favorite fragrances just like a candle! Both are made with our quality fragrance oil and natural soy wax. The only difference? How they are used.

Wax melts are not actually burned. They are melted using a fragrance warmer specially made for wax. You can find these at just about anywhere that also carries melts, but we picked out a few of our favorites we think you'll love. 😉

DO NOT use a crockpot, coffee warmer, stove top, or anything that is not specifically made to be used with wax melts, and read the packaging carefully to make sure you are using the right product!

Once you have a warmer, it’s time to add the melts! 🙌

Warmers typically have a ceramic or silicone dish on top of the heat source; this is where you put your melts. Do not add water or anything besides the wax melts into your warmer.

We recommend pouring 6-10 of our mini wax melt cubes onto your warmer dish to start. Adjust the amount depending on your warmer size or preference, but try not to overfill your warmer. You do not want the wax to overflow once it melts!

Next, just sit back, relax, and enjoy as the aroma fills the room! 😋

6-10 mini melt cubes can 'burn' for up to about 13 HOURS. That’s 13 hours of relaxation, warm thoughts, and a happy home!

When you're ready to remove old melts from your warmer, turn your warmer off. Use cotton balls to safely soak up the melted wax and wipe your warmer dish clean. Do not touch the hot, melted wax with your bare hands. If you are using a silicone "flip dish" with your warmer, turn the warmer off and allow the wax to cool completely before popping the wax out of the dish. Easy peasy!

If you were unsure about out soy wax melts, what they are, or how to use them, we hope this helped shed some light on how easy and effective melts can be. ❤

Hi. What bulb wattage works best with your melts? I have a scentsy warmer, so I know that some brand’s melts won’t work in them because the bulb doesn’t get hot enough.

Hello, I am so excited to try your product. I have had a time finding candles and melts that are true to the scent and that have a continued scent. I was referred by Coffee With My Sunshine YouTube channel.
