Thank you! Many of you loved our recent Vault Release....so we are doing another on May 19, 2026! We have more candles in the Vault, and this is a good chance to bring some different candles back for a very, very limited time in small batches.
As a candle business owner, it's my job to make sure we are making candles that don't just smell good in homes, but will actually be a blessing in your home. When I made candles for the first time in 2013, the medium or light and airy "hot throw" was what everyone wanted. Gosh, in 2026, it seems like things have completely changed! Everyone seems to want a strong or maximum throw candle, not unlike the 90's. Also, from 2013 - 2018, we couldn't make enough fruity candles fast enough... we had every fruit candle I could think to make! Haha! Fast forward more than 10 years: woods-y or even what I like to call "mandle" with warm ambers, heavy pines, firewood, etc. seems to be the trend.
Sometimes, a candle just isn't it - we launch it, but almost no one wants it. So, it is eventually retired. Actually, there are a few candles listed here as options that would fit that bill. Meaning, they were loved by a very select few! Also, some of the candles below also are from WAY back in the day! Southern Hospitality was a scent I would bring to craft fair shows in 2014 - 2015, and Sage & Citrus was made in 2016 or 2017 (I can't remember the exact year, but it was about 10 years ago when we first made it). That scent was in our shop for several years before it really fizzled in popularity and we put it in the Vault.
However, one thing is true: some of you fall in love with a scent, no matter the trend or popularity of the fragrance.
Which is why we started the Vault releases! Here's my issue: I can't decide which ones to bring back for May 2026. I can't do them all, but would like to narrow down to 5 - 6 perhaps. Which ones would you like to see in May? Also, am I missing any?

1. Apple Pickin': A bright scent of sweet Macintosh apples freshly picked from the sunny orchard
2. Warm Amber: An earthy, comforting blend of warm Amber and patchouli with vibrant notes of raspberry and pepper, highlighted by fresh florals and smoked woods
3. Mango Citrus: A vibrant, sweet medley of fresh mango, pineapple, and orange highlighted by soft notes of tropical florals and vanilla
4. Mahogany Cedar: A soothing aroma of warm mahogany with crisp citrus and sweet juniper berries, highlighted by red cedar, fresh fire and rich close, with soft notes of oak moss and sandalwood
5. Fireside: A nostalgic scent of crackling woodfire with vibrant blends of pine, frankincense and oak moss highlighted with cozy cedarwood, smoked sandalwood, and warm vanilla
6. Peach Apricot: A sweet medley of fresh peach and apricot, blended with sugary vanilla, soft jasmine, and clean citrus
7. Sage & Citrus: A clean, herbal scent of bittersweet lemon and lime combined with an earthly bouquet of fresh, spicy sage
8. Santal Woods: A vibrant, nostalgic blend of crisp eucalyptus with earthy, sweet vetiver and smooth suede, intertwined with white santal, warm Amber, and soft cashmere
9. Southern Hospitality: A clean, fresh bouquet of juniper, aloe, hawthorn, and jasmine, highlighted with soft, sweet notes of apples, peaches and melon
We have to order the candle making supplies by March 23. That gives Antique Candle Co. time to order all the ingredients, and then make the candles.
We make the candles in Lafayette, Indiana and craft each one for you...and these will still be the same recipe (same wax, wick, jar, and fragrance recipe) from when you ordered them years ago! There can be some minor variances with every batch, but most noses can't tell the difference. However, I believe that some of you
should work at a candle company (we're hiring lol) and do notice. But for most of us, it smells like the same exact candle.
One last tip: Our soy wax candles have a shelf life of about 2 years, so feel safe to stock up, only if you want to :)
Actually, the last, last tip: If you want an email when the winners are announced & another email when they are made and added to antiquecandleco.com, feel free to
join our email list if you aren't already on it.
I can't wait to read your comments and tally your votes!
