Safety matches are an essential part of candle care!
Our Safety Match jar features a Matthew 5:16 design "let your light shine before others" on one side and contains approximately 50, easy to use 3" wooden matches. There's something EXTRA satisfying about striking a match to light your favorite Antique Candle Co.® candle!

Candle Care
- Burn the candle no longer than 2-4 hours at a time, just enough to allow the wax to melt across the surface. Stop using the candle when only ¼" of wax remains in the jar.
- Use a wick trimmer to trim wick to about ¼ - ½" to ensure a safe, even burn. Ensure all wick trimmings are removed from the candle and thrown away.

Use a snuffer to extinguish your candle safely.
- Do not use any type of candle lid to extinguish the flame.
- Always store your candles in a cool, dry, and dark place.

All average shipping times assume no delays. Please allow additional transit time for Hawaii and Alaska, or during the holiday season. We take special care in packaging your candles to protect them from weather and possible damage during transit. However, in extreme hot or cold conditions, we recommend minimizing the time packages remain outside (on a doorstep).

this is really nice set of matches. the container is great. and also very cute to add as a gift with a candle.
Love these! Candles become so hard to light after you burn them so much, and these are plenty long, and I love the verse written in the side!
