The Future of Antique Candles...

When Brittany first started Antique Candle Co.® back in 2014, we didn’t have our classic Mason Jars—we had Antique Candles. In fact, that's why it's in the name! Each candle was hand-poured into vintage containers that we carefully picked from antique shops and flea markets. While a lot has changed over the years, that's still how Antique Candles are made to this day. ❤️ These candles were the heartbeat of our small business, and they’re still so close to our hearts...But as time goes on and this little studio evolves, we’ve found ourselves asking: Should we continue making Antique Candles? 

For context, we restock anywhere from 50-200 Antique Candles about every month. There’s still a dedicated group of candle lovers who come out to snag these extra special pieces—and we’re SO grateful for that! We've tried so many different vessels for Antiques, and some are definitely more popular than others (typically the harder ones to source...lookin' at you, Copper Candles! 👀). We put a lot of effort into finding these pieces, then hand cleaning and hand pouring them, and we love that...But to be completely honest with you, Antique Candles are much more difficult to make from start to finish than some of our other products for where we are at today.

So where does that leave Antiques? Well, it's a tough question. They’re one-of-a-kind, they’re timeless, and they’re what helped us get here. So we really are just curious: Should we keep making them, and if so, what type? Or would that time be better spent working on something new and exciting for YOU? We’re at a crossroads, and we'd really love your input to figure out the next steps.
