Hi! Brittany here…It’s not Pumpkin Spice candle season just yet, so at Antique Candle Co.® we like this time of year to work on special projects, business improvements, and getting ready for PEAK candle season (August – December)!
One of the things that you may not immediately think about with a candle company is the work to keep the “store” (antiquecandlco.com) open and easy to shop. I didn’t start the business to manage an online store—the reason I started is my love for candles and wanting to make more new fragrances for shoppers to enjoy! However, it’s one of those business things that happens from time to time.
This Spring 2025, if antiquecandleco.com starts to look WAY different, it’s because it is! We are designing, updating, and making the storefront hopefully easier to shop, faster, and well, simpler. A lot of people use the search feature on our website which tells me we need to prioritize this.
The nitty gritty details aren’t super important to share and might even bore you! Haha, but I wanted to give you a glimpse of us working on this for you! 😉
Most importantly though, the candles are still the SAME candles. We are still making them and working on new scents! We may “feel” different on the website, but we are still the same candle company. Not much has changed there!
Speaking of candle season, we do have some things coming up that I wanted to share with you…
MAY 15 - I am super stoked for bringing back some “retired” scents from years past! As much as I’d love to keep everything, as a smaller company we can’t afford to keep everything in stock all the time…If we did, we’d have about 100 scents by now! While other companies are bigger and can do this, we’d go out of business I’m afraid. 😅 However, we can bring back some scents for a limited time!
The Vault Release will include:
Vanilla Bean: A warm, cozy scent of vanilla bean with soft, spiced notes of clove, nutmeg and cinnamon bark.
Clean Cotton: A crisp scent of freshly cleaned linens, highlighted with a kiss of sweet citrus and a slightly woody bottom note.
Lemon Eucalyptus: A fresh aroma of bright lemon and sweet orange, highlighted with a bouquet of eucalyptus leaves, citrus blooms, and wild mint.
Sage & Citrus: A clean, herbal scent of bittersweet lemon and lime combined with an earthy bouquet of fresh, spicy sage.
Back Roads: An outdoorsy aroma with top notes of fresh-cut leaves, lemon, and apple highlighted by bold cedarwood, sweet jasmine, lavender, violet, and lilac.
APRIL 2025 - Also, if you are a monthly candle box subscriber, Sage & Citrus will be in the April box. This candle was born in year 3 or 4 of my business…very early years. In my opinion, the earthy and herby notes of sage shine over the citrus. That was always one of my favorite elements of this candle! Some of our other fruit-infused candles are very sweet or fruity-heavy, even with other elements. For example, IMHO, Lemon Eucalyptus is heavier on the lemon side with a touch of fresh, minty eucalyptus. However, every nose is different!

MAY 2025 - Again, for my monthly candle box subscribers, Coconut Berry is a brand-new candle coming to your May box!!! I’m so excited for this one! It smells like creamy coconut, sun-ripened strawberries, black raspberries, sweet citrus, and vanilla beans.
JULY 2025 - Antique candles are back!! I know it’s been forever…We are focusing on fall fragrances for this restock and are working on making about 450 unique one-of-a-kind candles! 💃
COMING SOON - Will you consider being a tester to help us find a new Fall candle? We are exploring some new scents like Vanilla Spice Pancake, Apple Cider Muffin, Pumpkin Bourbon Pecan Cobbler, Toasted Maple Pecan, Warm Nutmeg, Warm Cedar & Lemon, Toasted Marshmallow, Leaves & Cinnamon, Pumpkin Trifle, Pumpkin S'mores...
We are testing internally right now. Any thoughts? Still a work in progress and hope to narrow down to 4 for you by the time we are looking for candle testers!
