There's no better way to make the SWEETEST bake-y candle than with the sweetest baking queen! Sarah is a wife, mother of three, and boss babe behind the Sarah Joy Blog. She is also one of our oldest friends (seriously, she was there when we were just getting started!).

We knew we just had to get together to co-create the YUMMIEST fall candle of all!

We've been waiting to share this this candle for so long! We recently flew out to Colorado to get the inside scoop on the making of Warm Caramel Crumble.

Here's what Sarah had to say about her DELICIOUS fall candle:

How did you decide on the fragrance for Warm Caramel Crumble? 

"This particular scent was actually the very first one I tried when I began the testing process. I immediately fell in love with it and I could tell right away that it would be one of my top choices. I kept coming back to it over and over again throughout those few months of testing because it was just so yummy! After seeing the incredible survey results from all the candle testers, I knew it was THE one!"

How fun was the testing process for Warm Caramel Crumble?

"When we did our initial testing, Antique Candle Co.® sent me probably 20 candle samples and the scents were all kinds of different things from pumpkin, to apple, to coffee scents, and we tried EVERYTHING to find the best fall candle!"

"I would burn each one for an entire day so I could really get a sense of how our home smelled. And then the next day, I would try another one! From that point, I narrowed it down to about 6 of my favorites. I narrowed it down to one candle after we had all of our surveys in on the sample testers. We really relied on that feedback to pick the candle that people loved the most. That helped a lot!"

What is your favorite thing about Warm Caramel Crumble?

"When I smell Warm Caramel Crumble, it reminds me of warm, gooey caramel and buttery vanilla mixed in, with a little bit of apple. It’s the perfect fall scent!"

"It reminds me so much of my mom being in the kitchen, baking me some type of dessert when I was a kid. It has a very homey, bake-y smell to it that makes it seem like someone is in the kitchen baking a pie or a cake and it just is so welcoming and warm and inviting."

What do you think people will love most about Warm Caramel Crumble by Sarah Joy?

"I think people will love the warm, bake-y smell of this candle! It smells exactly like you are in the kitchen baking something delicious, but without all the work! Especially transitioning into fall, you’re really craving that cozy, warm feel in your home…and I think one of the best ways to do that is with a candle. And this one, Warm Caramel Crumble, does exactly that!"

What do you think a candle brings to a home?

"I think a candle brings so much warmth and coziness to a home, whether it’s summer or fall or winter… any season…a candle has this magical way of making any home feel cozy!"

Where is your favorite place in your home to light a candle?

"That's a hard question! I love having a candle burning in every room, but if I had to choose I'd say my favorite is the living room or the kitchen. There's such a cozy, warm feeling that comes with having a yummy candle burning, so I love adding that vibe into the spaces we use so much!"

How did Sarah Joy Blog first meet Antique Candle Co.®?

"I’ve known Antique Candle Co.® for about 2 years now (or maybe even a little bit longer than that!). Brittany reached out to me initially and offered to send me some of her candles to try. I said HECK YES, I would love to! From that point, I instantly fell in love with them and I’ve been burning them in my home ever since!"
